Aug 19th, Sat, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
As a perfect unwind for a backbends class, we will dive into the fascinating world of hip opener poses, exploring ways to warm the body for them, discussing the differences between its two main asanas, leg behind the head (Eka Pada Sirsasana) and foot under the armpit (Yogidandasana), playing around with them trying to find a number of ways to access the hips etc. Open your mind to try different variations, arm balances, maybe even combining both Eka Pada Sirsa and Yogidanda into Valgulasana, for those more daring adventurers, but always safely respecting your body’s boundaries.
